Dad's Place is located in the historic town of Milford, Pa. on 10 private acres bordering the
Delaware National Recreation area which consists of 70,000 acres and it is a haven for the
retired outdoorsman with thousands of acres of hiking trails and hunting grounds to
explore. A 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk thru a trail from Dad's Place takes you to the
Milford Beach, Park, and Delaware River boat launch where you can enjoy fishing,
swimming, and biking or hiking on the famous 32 mile McDade Trail. You may also try fly
fishing from the Sawkill Stream a short walk from the residence. The breathtaking beauty of
4 seasons of nature and local wildlife surrounds our area and it's not uncommon to see a
majestic Bald Eagle fly overhead as you kayak in the river or in one of our local lakes.
You may walk to the quaint town of Milford from Dad's Place and explore the local shops
and restaurants or take a quick drive to our neighboring states of New Jersey and New
York. Milford is well known for it's fantastic hunting and fishing, hiking and biking trails,
Music Festival, Art Shows, the Black Bear Film Festival, rodeo's, music in the park on
summer weekends and other community events throughout the year. American Legion
Post 139 is a very active lodge and is located around the corner from Dad's Place. We
welcome and honor our Veterans with a monthly discount on rent.
Dad's Place was designed to comfortably house four senior gentlemen who desire an
active retirement option as it's your time in life to enjoy your hobbies and leave the daily
details of life to our staff. With a full time supportive staff you will now finally have the time

Dad's Place is not an assisted living or skilled care facility, rather our staff is here to take
